Things To Do!
Updated: May 20
Here is a list of our favorite things to do while in Cape Tormentine:
Take a walk on the beach (of course)! Dogs allowed on leash.
Stop by the convenience store for an ice cream (or a washroom break, open May - October)
Explore New Brunswick's most easterly section of the trans-canada trail. Entrance near the lighthouse on Ferry Road
Pick a spot for a picnic by the ocean
Push the kids on the swing at the playground (the higher they go, the prettier the view!)
Visit the lighthouses! They are a work in progress but a great photo opportunity which brings us to our next activity...
Photography! From the stunning sunsets to the fascinating remnants of our past there is something that will surely catch your creative eye
Events! Join our mailing list and we will let you know what family friendly activities we are working on
Relax with some camping, stay for a night or the season. Wake up to the sound of waves! We are a great spot to explore the area. Near us you will find: amazing views of the Confederation Bridge, Cape Jourimain Nature Centre, Lavender Moon Farm, Monro Heritage Centre (Port Elgin, NB), Port Elgin Farmer's Market and many great places to eat like Route 16, Cape 16, One Fish Bistro and Bistro Le Chat Bleu. This is all just 20 minutes from "the Cape". There are a number of great accommodations in the area if camping is not your thing!
