Music Festival 2023 Update: Introducing BOTE Music Fest!

CAPE TORMENTINE, N.B. – For over two decades, people have come from near and far to enjoy Cape Tormentine's annual music festival. Originally hosted by the Rotary Club of Port Elgin, the event was later picked up by the Cape Tormentine Community Development Corporation (CTCDC). This year marks the eighth year for the growing festival. Some exciting changes to accommodate that growth are already underway including stage upgrades!

Most notably the festival name will change to the BOTE Music Fest (pronounced BOAT). B.O.T.E is an acronym for Beacon Of The East which is the name of the special projects under the CTCDC. You can expect to see much loved local musicians and acts returning but also new talent sharing country music, bluegrass, rock and everything in between.

In the coming weeks we will announce our growing musical lineup. We are very excited to confirm Richard Wood will be joining us this year! Richard Wood is a multi-award winning performer who has blown away sold-out audiences around the world with his traditional-born, fiery-brand of Celtic music and now he is coming to Cape Tormentine!
